Gata Titània is a contemporary dance company based in Barcelona, founded by Jordi and Monsterrat Milian in 1998. GT covers four main areas:

Montserrat Milian Batista
Director.
Born Barcelona, 1966.
She trained, in theory, in the field of Humanities
and, in practice, specialised in management and
cultural/creative tasks and in stage creation.
Catalan Philology from the University of Barcelona
and postgraduated in Management from the Pompeu
Fabra University.
She has worked in the field of literary journalism
and in different companies and institutions, such
as the Olympic Organising Committee Barcelona’92
or the Continuing Education Institute of the Pompeu
Fabra University.
In 1998 she set up Gata Titania with Jordi Milian
Batista.


Jordi
Milian Batista
Artistic director, choreographer and principal
actor.
Born Barcelona, 1972.He has a solid and complete
training in the acting sphere.
He trained at the Estudio Nancy Tuñón,
at the Escuela El Timbal and in Tariqa.
He studied dramatic arts, physical theatre, mime
and pantomime, dance-theatre, fencing and stage
combat.
He dances Laban with Teresa Monsegur.
Studies in modern dance and mime with Martha Murray.
He also engages in research and theatrical teaching,
in which he applies his own teaching system which
he teaches in various different programmes internationally.
He set up Gata Titania 1998 alongside Montserrat
Milian Batista.

Isabel Arriola
Actress and ballerina.
Quim Casals
Born in Barcelona in 1970, he works with Gata
Titania in producing and setting up different
audiovisual projects. He has a degree in Psychology
from the University of Barcelona, as well as being
a vocational film buff.
Anna Crexells Sender
Born in Barcelona in 1977. Accompanying pianist.
She has a higher degree in Piano from the Conservatory
of the Liceo, and continues to train with Ángel
Soler. She is professionally involved in teaching
and gives concerts and contributes to different
artistic spheres.
Óscar Font Fonoll
A smiling and active character and who attempts
to provoke and motivate the spectator with his
surreal view of the individual. Offonoll is his
stage name, with which he introduces himself as
Vj. Feel of Pleasure.
Montse García
Born in Barcelona in 1966, she has worked with
Gata Titania as an artistic designer. She trained
as a design illustrator, painter and sculptor.
Before beginning her degree course in Fine Arts,
in the speciality of artistic drawing, she spent
ten years producing works in artistic drawing,
oils and watercolours in the workshop of the painter
Carles Madirolas.
Barbara Gyimothy
Born in Hungary in 1974, she has been dancing
since she was four years old. She is qualified
in Dance and Scenic Arts. She has worked in many
performances by the National Theatre of Hungary.
She teaches physical expression, photographic
movement and acting.
Marco Antonio Morales
A director of Multimedia Art, he is specialised
in developing multimedia for shows and events,
as well as producing corporate design for Internet.
