Methodology
Jordi Milian Batista has created JORMIBA
system, a modern dance and physical theatre
theoretical and technical method, based on overall
student training and the knowledge and proper
use of the five mechanicals that form the level
of expression. Another branch of the school contemplates
the study of fencing and stage combat.
This system is applied in several programs aimed
at different target groups (professionals of the
theatre or of other disciplines).
It also has relevant applications as a therapy
for the disabled.
Here we should mention the application of techniques
of scenic arts for therapeutic purposes, a field
in which he works nationally on commission from
the La Caixa Foundation.
